Terms of Service

By accessing the PolitIQ public leaderboard or registering for the politician self-service portal (together, the "Service"), operated by PolitIQ Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("PolitIQ", "we"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

PolitIQ provides:

• A public, unauthenticated leaderboard of AI-computed political Influence Scores, filterable by state and party
• A self-service portal where politicians can view their own score breakdown, manage content plans, and access AI-assisted post suggestions and strategy tools

The self-service portal is intended for sitting politicians, candidates, and their authorized staff. New registrations are reviewed and approved by our admin team before portal access is granted. Portal login uses a one-time password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number — you are responsible for keeping that number and any resulting session secure.

You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to promptly update it if your party, state, constituency, or social media handles change.

The Influence Score is an algorithmic measure derived from publicly available social media engagement, audience growth, platform reach, and platform diversity. It is provided for informational and research purposes only.

• The Influence Score is not an endorsement, ranking of merit, or measure of governance quality
• Scores are computed purely from data — no one can pay to change their score, and payment unlocks additional detail views only, never a higher score
• We do not guarantee the score's completeness or freedom from error, as it depends on third-party data sources and platform APIs

The portal offers two paid products, processed via Razorpay:

• Detailed Analytics Unlock — a one-time payment of ₹999 that unlocks your full score breakdown
• AI Content Subscription — a recurring ₹9,999/month subscription that unlocks AI post suggestions and strategy tools

Subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle until cancelled from your account settings. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Refunds, where applicable, are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support@politiq.in.

AI post suggestions and strategy content are generated using third-party large language models and are provided as drafting assistance only.

• You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any AI-generated content before publishing it
• You are responsible for ensuring published content complies with Election Commission of India guidelines, the Model Code of Conduct (where applicable), and all other laws
• PolitIQ does not guarantee the factual accuracy, originality, or legal compliance of AI‑generated suggestions

You agree not to:

• Attempt to manipulate the Influence Score through fraudulent engagement, bot activity, or fake accounts
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute leaderboard data at scale without our written permission
• Share your OTP, session token, or portal credentials with unauthorized parties
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or spread misinformation about any individual or party
• Interfere with or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or APIs

The PolitIQ name, logo, Influence Score methodology, and platform software are the property of PolitIQ Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Content you upload or generate through the portal (profile details, content plans) remains yours; you grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to operate the Service on your behalf.

PolitIQ is not affiliated with, and does not endorse, any political party or candidate. Our scoring methodology and public leaderboards apply the same objective criteria to every politician, regardless of party or state.

We may suspend or terminate portal access for accounts that violate these Terms, provide fraudulent registration information, or misuse the Service. You may close your account at any time by contacting support@politiq.in.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PolitIQ shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on Influence Scores or AI-generated content.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Assam, India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
